Creator Portfolio Licence

This is the permission that makes a creator profile possible. You give it when you join the LivingRGV creator marketplace, and it is required — we cannot show your work to anyone without it.

What you tell us

The work you upload is yours, or you hold the rights to display it and to give the permission below. You are responsible for having those rights. If you upload work you do not have the right to show, we may remove it and close your profile.

This includes the audio in anything you upload. Music, voice, and sound in a video are covered by the same statement: if you did not make it, you need the right to use it. A commercial track added to a reel is the most common way this goes wrong, and licensing it for social media is not the same as licensing it here.

What you give us permission to do

You give LivingRGV permission to show your submitted images, videos, text, and links:

  • on your creator profile page;
  • on the marketplace surfaces that lead people to that profile — category and browse pages, search results, and directory listings.

Always with credit to you, and for as long as your profile is active.

Video also needs processing before anyone can watch it. You give us permission to encode your video into the formats and resolutions playback requires, and to generate still images from it — thumbnails and poster frames — for use on the same surfaces listed above. This is mechanical preparation, not editing: we do not change what your video shows.

What this does not cover

This permission does not include:

  • use anywhere outside the surfaces listed above — promotional and editorial use, including our social channels and the hero on the LivingRGV creators page, is a separate and optional permission (Creator Promotional Use), which you may decline without affecting your profile;
  • any edit to your work beyond resizing or cropping it to fit a layout, and — for video — beyond the encoding and still-frame generation described above;
  • removing your credit;
  • passing these rights to anyone else.

Changing your mind

If you close your account, we stop new use of your work. Your profile comes down and we stop displaying your work on the surfaces above.

We do not promise to recall material that has already left our own site — a screenshot someone else took, or a page already saved by a search engine, is outside our control. What we control is our own continued use, and that is what stops.

If this document changes

We publish a new version rather than editing this one. Every version keeps a permanent address, and the record of your agreement names the exact version you agreed to.

If you agreed to an earlier version, that agreement stands on its own terms and we keep showing the work it covers. You are not required to accept this version; declining it means we cannot host video for you, and nothing else about your profile changes.
